  3. Consider CFFC in your estate planning. We have been named as a beneficiary in several wills. This is a great way to support the poor in developing countries.
  4. Consider tax planning options of transferring stocks or bonds to Canadian Food for Children. The benefits of transferring stocks or bonds to a qualified charity is that neither party pays the capital gains.  CFFC issues a charitable tax receipt to the donor as a "gift in kind".  CFFC is able to sell the stocks or bonds as soon as the cash  value is approved by the Canada Revenue Agency.
  5. Consider donations to CFFC in lieu of gifts (Christmas, birthdays, Easter etc.)
  6. Donate goods or services such as new school supplies, printed brochures or business cards, advertising etc. (tax receipts are issued for "gifts in kind")
  7. Become a registered member to get our newsletter. Membership is $5.00 per year.
